There is no doubt about it, you will be out in the woods hunting. While you are already thinking of the fun and adventure ahead of you, it is of utmost importance that you will inform your family or loved ones, or somebody you know, before acting on your plans or heading out to your target hunting ground(s). Of course, somebody has to know about your whereabouts and your expected return. Aside from other practical reasons, this is to give them assurance in case the “unexpected” and “inevitable” will occur.

This game is about you, your hunting gear, your game, and your safety out there in the hunting field. As the saying goes, “you don’t go to war unprepared”, especially not without your gears double-checked and tested. Every aspect of your gear must be secured to avoid any possible slip-up. A faulty gear can cause you harm, or can even cost you your life, that could have been prevented from happening right from the very beginning of your hunting plan. This part of the preparation shall also include your ideal suit, emergency kit, extra dry clothing, and convenient tools to come in handy at every situation.
This Is My Territory

Sometimes, when you are engulfed by the intensity of your excitement you will forget about the terrain and lost sight of your direction. But always remember: you can’t be lost in the woods or your chosen hunting territory. This could be dangerous, and this can only be managed if you had the full terrestrial knowledge of that specific area. If you didn’t know that playing field too well like the back of your hands, at least you have studied its topography enough to know where to go in and where to get out. So, before the game begins, get a grip on the essential details of your playing ground. Bring a map, and maybe a compass, to ensure direction is always in front of you.
At times, hunting can be tricky and wild. It is an adrenaline-rushing adventure that demands extreme precaution. And while it involves risks and dangers, safety should come first—safety shall be its most important definition.
